liked it. hard to get into but a good story now looking for book two

This is book is all about survival, it really made me think what I would do in that scenario. The author does a fantastic job creating vivid images and realistic reactions. It amazes me how gripping a post-apocalyptic story can get.

I cant wait for the next book.

I struggled in the beginning but I think that's a personal thing where I prefer a story to be told from the perspective of a single character rather than multiple simultaneous plots. However, once I got into the flow of it all I was hooked and hoping for more at the end. This is definitely a story that feels like it's only just getting started.

Ray Porter was great at bringing the story alive, giving characters unique and recognizable voices.
