The starting seemed like the beginning of an interesting plot and that helps to tolerate the narration but as the story progressed further, the awful narration couldn't be ignored any longer. It's too sharp, borderline (always) angry and makes the main female character appears to be rather emotionally dysregulated rather than witty. Could not finish this book.

Love the characters, setting, and writing. Knocked a star off performance as the sound editor should have asked the narrator to re record a few (minor/rare) things. E.g when Chase was yelling he sounded like Gemma at times. I was almost put off by the cover (faceless people?) but super glad I pushed through as I’m very impressed.

The story was great. I enjoyed the action packed and story building going on in the crazy interconnected characters. I just wish it didn't end so abruptly and maybe had an epilogue to know a bit more about how the characters ended.

Easy story left me wanting more at the end.
