Oh this book got me into so much trouble (not really I just got an eye roll and a you mean you did nothing today but listened to a book?) I had so much planned to do today and thought. What better than to put on this amazing sounding book to liven up cleaning and gardening.

Instead I was captivated and transported to Nikki Ash’s world with her characters who stole my heart so quickly and their troubles and successes. This was just an amazing book, the narration was spot on and I only wish I could listen to it again for the first time.

No Strings was a cute and sweet friends to lovers romance. Savannah finds herself starting over in a new city after being betrayed by her husband and her best friend. Shortly after moving to New York, she meets Ben. He is hard-working, owning several businesses, and recently his son moved in with him so he is adjusting to being a full-time father.

Ben and Savannah form a friendship quickly. They are polar opposites in a lot of ways, but their banter and friendship is easy. In addition, Savannah and Ben's son, Brody, were also quick to bond. The more time Savannah and Ben spent together, the more their relationship evolved, until Ben offers up a no strings casual sexual relationship. It does get tricky given how much their lives have been tied together since meeting.

I listened to the audiobook and really enjoyed it. I really liked both main characters as well as Brody. It was clear from the start how much these three people belonged together and how well Savannah fit into Brody and Ben's lives. I liked how Savannah balanced out Ben's more serious nature. I think Michael Gallagher and Sarah Puckett did a fantastic job with the narration of this story. They were both very pleasant to listen to. I would definitely recommend both them and this book. #TheFlock #PinkFlamingoProductions

What a beautiful storyline. With lots happening and very well written characters I really enjoyed it. An excellent performance from both Sarah and Michael.

I loved how this single dad troupe book was different. First off the child is a teenager and Brody steals the show in this book IMO.

Savannah has recently moved town and is about to embark in a new position. While acquaintances herself in her new home befriends Brody in the workout room. There relationship is one that flourished and help each of grow. It amazed me that Brody accepted Savvy’s advice when he so needed it and he was the best cheerleader for his dad’s budding relationship with Savvy too!

Sarah had me laughing at Savvy’s sassy, unique ways. From her taking over the treadmill in Uggs in full makeup, to her nurturing Brody and being able to guide him through his changes in where he now lives with his dad Benjamin. I loved when she walks into Ben’s meetings and says what’s on her mind. Savvy’s one character that will have me smiling ear to ear when I think of her.

Michael is funny, serious and believable as Brody’s Dad Benjamin. He sure helped me see how stuffy Ben was sent packing after Savvy gets him to relax. We hear such emotion from exasperation with Ben’s dealing with the treadmill stealer😂 and Brody’s lack of ambition for school and his ex. To his heart opening up to a future with Savvy. And shows us the growth of character with Brody too.

Really enjoyed this standalone from Nikki Ash on an old troupe of a single dad done in a way that made it fresh again and just made me smile.

I not only loved the main romance story, but i liked that the author also included very delicate real life issues in the story. very well written. never boring. great characters and the narration was also very good. Michael Gallagher has one of the best voices ever.
