This book had me giggling, the 2 main characters are great, would have been brilliant on duet narration

These two characters are excellent - especially Matt - loved him 😍 Unfortunately their story was lacking. A lot of narrative about nothing until the last few chapters. Narrators are superb and saved this one.

This book is brilliant, it has made me laugh out loud and brought a tear to my eyes too. But overall it has kept me hooked. The narration from both actors was excellent. I am a Donna Alam fan and this was up there with her best work. Certainly the best in this interconnected trilogy.

This was an enjoyable listening in parts, but felt the story went on too long and skipped chapters as a result.

Just a bit too long

The narration is wonderful but the story itself drags slowly for much of the book. I honestly almost gave up finishing it. The 35 year old main character has a lot of internal dialogue and perhaps is a little immature in how she doesn’t talk about her problems but rather runs away from them. Some 🌶️ scenes and humorous moments which made up for the slow pace.
