About this listen

Winifred is the most unlikable character you will ever love.

She’d planned to party away the summer with her friends—until her dorky stepbrother decided to tie the knot in Malegonia, a tiny, nearly un-Googleable Balkan country. Now, she’s stuck on a whirlwind trip with her quirky relatives, navigating everything from language mishaps to wedding day disasters. As chaos and confusion unfold, Wini quickly learns that surviving the Balkans—and her family—might just take more than a sense of humor.

Full of laugh-out-loud moments and surprising heart, this is a coming-of-age comedy you will not want to put down.

An engaging, brilliantly paced story with action, heart, and intricate worldbuilding. I loved the humour, the family drama, and the characters, Winifred’s character development was impressive. Alaura Howery nailed the narration.

A review copy of this book was sent to me by the author. All of the above opinions are my own.

Intricate worldbuilding.

I thought the storyline was good but sadly lacking any frills. I listened on audible. The narrator did compliment the author but do feel the opportunity to make this a best seller was sadly lost

A good story but …..
