I have two words to describe this book; Heart Wrenching! It was so beautifully written, with characters that you just wish you really knew. The story of Vinny and Marley is tragic, in one sense, yet it is very inspiring. This one will bring some tears to your eyes. It will shock you.

This author just knows how to write about a very tortured soul, both male and female. And definitely knows how to write a love scene. By far, a top listen for me. The narrators did a phenomenal job bringing the story to life.

I really enjoyed this book because I loved the twist and turns you don't see coming. This story sucks you in right from the beginning and never let's you go till the end. This story does really touch on some emotional issues that I think alot of people can relate too. Drug abuse and blended family issues really affect the lives in this story. The narrators did a great job with these characters and making it an even more enjoyable story.

This story will have you glued till the end it is a bit slow at the beginning . It’s a slow burn love story . The author wrote about 2 souls that loved each other but somehow was kept apart . Both the Hero and Heroine had l
problems that they had to face at the beginning of the story .
Hero is Vinny . Heroine is Marley. They both came from 2 different worlds. Vinny came from money and wealth but something went wrong. He turns to alcohol and drugs . And he gives up on Marley at the time . Marley gave from the wrong side of the tracks , had a hard life . Vinny gets cleaned up and he wants Marley back .
Marley gets engaged to Vinny brother Lloyd but Vinny wants her back .
Both performance by Gregory and Lacy were great . Gregory deep husky voice for Vinny was great. His performance for Lloyd who was a bad apple was great also . Lacy performance for Marley was strong

oh Shanora Williams certainly knows how to rip out your heart stomp on it and put it all back together again healed , I was not expecting what happened in this book to happen at all , but whilst it was heartbreaking it made the story all that more special and heart felt, I am at a loss for words really on how to write this review
just know you NEED to read or listen to this book !
I would totally recommend listening however, as the narrators really brought this book to life and made it all the more special !
