Another good story from Rory Clement. Description was a little bit repetitive but still enjoyable.

Really loved Rory’s new tale in Munich, 1935. Seb Wolf is a great detective navigating pre-war Nazi Germany. The story was great, as you’d expect from Clements, I do hope we get more from this (potential) new series.

Adam Sims narration is brilliant (as it was in the Tom Wilde series), and conveys a wide range of varied characters. Expected German accents given the setting but I expect that’s a creative decision (doesn’t detract from the book at all)

The story was gripping right from the get go and didn’t let up throughout, so many times I was on tender hooks wondering whether our protagonist would survive. Really well written and very evocative of the tensions and risk that abounded Germany at this point in history. First book by this author, but most definitely won’t be my last
