Moorings is the third in a chilling series of books which will rapidly convert followers of L. J. Ross, Faith Martin, Joy Ellis and Helen H. Durrant into David Blake devotees.

When Harry Falcon, a wealthy boatyard owner and decorated World War Two veteran, is found drowned in his bath, DI John Tanner and DC Jenny Evans start by questioning his two sons, each with a motive for wanting him dead. But when the elder son is found with his head smashed in under a toppled yacht, and the younger son has been talking to a local property developer, one who’d spent months trying to buy the yard from his father, the investigation soon leads them towards a dark and dangerous secret, one which nobody can quite believe. Set within the Norfolk Broads, this fast-paced British detective series is a murder mystery that will have you guessing until the very end, when the last shocking twist is finally revealed.

Another gripping tale which kept the listener glued to the story, read easily and excellently as only Jonathan Keeble can. Many thanks to you both.

Best in the series so far, well read and well thought out and thankfully book 4 is due out shortly.

Excellent

As a native of Norfolk I lost any belief in the “local” characters! Sounding like The Wurzels on tour I think the narrator, who in the main has the perfect story telling tone, ruined it by not doing his dialect homework.
Other than that it’s an ok ramble with some interesting, yet unbelievable twists.

Oooo’aar, Is Naaarfuck on the south coast?
