Madeline is an 'Enjoyable Romance' ! Set in post war France with all the restrictions that brings (especially for F/F women). The narrator does an excellent job of persuading us that despite Jessica's 'English Accent' the character's are French, so much better than some of the 'foreign' accents some narrator's butcher ! I liked the two MC's and I liked their story. I'm not giving anything away when I say they got their 'HEA', however I think the Author could of given us a little bit more that a 'quick' almost 'fade to black' ending ?
