great love story

Just like Nicole’s other book, Turning Red (another amazing story and one of my favourite new perspectives on the classic Zombie Apocalypse), this book had me enraptured the whole time. The drama, emotions and excitement all felt so so real when listening to Lori’s performance as she puts so much expression into every one of her lines, really allowing you to feel the emotions as the characters go through their experiences.

This story will always hold a special place in my heart as it’s what helped me face my own fears and finally come out to my own family. So thank you Nicole and Lori, and anyone else involved in this book, for giving me an experience that has changed my life forever.

Honestly, just read/listen to it! You can’t go wrong with anything written by Nicole Maser or anything narrated by Lori Prince. You’re in safe hands (although they may wreck you emotionally, they’ll always put you back together again by the end) ❤️

Not the worst story I’ve listened to, but just found it pretty frustrating and tedious at times. Jess wasn’t an overly likeable character to me, but I kinda liked Sam as a character
