Funniest book I listened to in a long time! Initially considered getting it for my teenage son but as it got progressively more outrageous, I decided I'll wait few years...Thanks James :-)

Very funny. Laughs at himself, while revealing how vile the newspapers are, and how other musicians without reason took a dislike to him. Very humorous and honest (even though he claims it’s largely fictional!)

Absolutely loved the book! Performance, of course is great! A bit shocked by the details, but it couldn't be otherwise!

I chose to listen to this because I’ve always liked James’s ability to come back at his critics with pithy and hilarious comments. He’s far more eloquent than the gutter press and pretentious pop stars who make those jibes, so I knew it would be good.

Before listening, I thought of him as a posh bloke who’d been in the army and then had a pop career. My God, this was an eye opener! I’d no idea about his lifestyle shall we say, and I have burst out laughing so many times and almost vomited a few too.

Whether it is all true or not, and I suspect it pretty much is, it’s highly entertaining and I like him all the more for his frankness. He’s certainly packed a hell of a lot into his life so far. Go James is all I can say, oh and thank you for your service too.
