Livesuit is a great snapshot into an aspect of The Captive's War universe that we haven't yet seen. It's a soulful and contemplative look at the front line of a technologically driven war and what the impacts might be for those involved, it's a good book. The "haven't seen yet" part is what triggers the mild disappointment, after "The Mercy of Gods" I eagerly spent a credit on Livesuit not realizing that it is a very shot interim novella rather than either a continuation of the main story arc or a separate novel introducing a new part of the arc. This was my mistake of course but I suspect I wasn't alone in this error. I look forward to finding out what happens next with the Dafyd and the workgroup.

A soulful story but slightly disappointing

A nice stand alone story. Possibly a bit too predictable but lovely prose and and wonderful performance.

Solid DLC

I like to think of this story as Starship Troopers on Red Bull. It's a great addition to the 'Gods Of Mercy' storyverse and follows a bunch of yahoos on their first person shooter style journey to help save the human race. There is much introspection and we learn about who they were and who they become through the prsim of war. Be prepared for a dark twist.

Great work from Jefferson Mays on the narration.

First person shooter with a twist
