Summary

Just a Touch Away is another epic slow-burn Sapphic romance by Jae. Winter and Hannah go from enemies to lovers when they are stuck living together under unusual circumstances. Hannah’s job as a professional cuddler adds a quirky element to the storyline. Winter’s icy facade slowly melts as the two get to know each other. I certainly can’t get my head around cuddling strangers, not even for a living! Though it’s a real job, and through reading this book, I can see how it can help some people. It made me feel vulnerable just reading it.

I can relate to Hannah’s character having aphantasia, as I, too, have this. It was great to read a book where it depicts what it's like so well. I’m grateful not to have a visual memory in some ways, though it baffles me to remember how most people see the world.
I think the reason why Jae writes with such emotion is due to her also having aphantasia. It must be the reason I relate so well to her work.

4.75 stars, 🌟🌟🌟🌟✨ only because, like Winter, I struggle with the idea of cuddling strangers!
