This book is amazing. It gives you examples of how people have managed different situations successfully and unsuccessfully. It explains the ways to influence people without being false but just being nice. I wish I had listed to this book 20 years ago. I have been captivated. I find myself unconsciously changing my behaviour, what a difference it has made when working with my staff or playing with my children.

I learned so many effective and simple to do people's skills as well as getting clarification and approval of good techniques that I already knew about especially through real life examples provided in the book.

I will certainly recommend this book to anyone, especially those dealing with people regularly.

Well I listen to the books in the car to amd from work. I picked up a few important things from the book. I put them into practice, like just making sure you appreciate people, and making sure you understand they are busy and saying thing like if it's not to much trouble, and making them aware you you appreciate there skills and knowledge and value them. If you make a mistake, own that mistake and just say sorry and accept it.
I did this on day 1 of coming from from Christmas break. you would not believe the responses I was getting and how quick I was getting replies which would normal take weeks to get a reply, if I got one at all, I had a professional replying 2 days later apologising to me for taking so long to reply!
