As someone who’s been through depression and is slowly trying to find their way back, I really appreciate audiobooks like this. Mental health struggles can feel isolating; people with anxiety or depression often drift from others and end up keeping everything to themselves, which I’ve done too. That's why I think topics like really matter, and I really liked listening to this one. Sometimes you just need to hear someone put words to the things you haven’t been able to say, and this did that for me. If you’ve been stuck and tired of surface-level advice, this one might land differently

I used this book as an aid for therapy. I’m a therapist, but I’m also in therapy working on me. I would never recommend anything to my clients I wouldn’t try myself! This was a powerful listen. Feeling stuck is something many, many of my clients struggle with. With proper support, nutrition, letting go of perfectionism, simplifying life to release overwhelm, feeling stuck can be overcome. This all is a root of anxiety and depression. I truly found help in this book.

Finding Calm and Strength Step by Step

Anxiety, sadness, stress, etc. really suck. Feeling stuck in that rut can be really hard, but this book gives you productive ways to start feeling better. It shares what I would say are easy to form habits for creating healthy relationships. The advice feels personal and kind, not overwhelming or confusing. I also like the parts of the book that can help you with overcoming burnout or low motivation, This is a good book that can you get back to a place of peace in your life.
