This is a fabulously delightful sports RomCom, and I enjoyed everything about it, from the authors’ wonderful writing style to the interesting characters and storylines created to the perfectly cast narrator who brings it all to life from the pages to your ears. The story grabbed my attention immediately and captivated it the entire book. Peyton Manning's professional hockey player boyfriend, Chad, performed a hat trick except it was not on the ice but on a porn website, recorded and unloaded by the three puck bunnies he was cheating on her with. Peyton leaves him and takes out her frustration on his beloved car. She had uprooted her life for him even gave up an amazing job, so she needs to start over and find another. But first she goes out and enjoys herself and may even get some revenge of her own while hanging with the rival team, one she winds up getting a job with. I liked the connection Peyton made with Noah, Hatch and Joni, teammates with unique personalities. Noah, the jokester, Hatch the romantic and Joni the serious one carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders, he was also the biggest jerk. I loved how everything plays out in this book, the author does a great job building the relationships and keeping you wondering where each was going to lead and who she winds up with in the end. The story is cleverly plotted with a perfect balance of drama, humor, heartfelt emotions and romance, which is playful and sometimes steaming hot. CoraLee June and Carrie Gray, thank you for this entertaining story, the humor and witty dialogue was brilliant and fun.

🎧📚🎧 And for the fabulous narration, Amanda Stribling is a talented narrator and a versatile voice artist. She has a complete understanding of the characters she portrays, giving each a voice that is a perfect fit for that character’s persona, sounding believable every role she plays role and just as I picture the character to sound. She sets the perfect tone for the story, handles the witty dialogue with ease and lands the humor flawlessly. You could hear how much heart she puts into her work as she captures the characters’ emotions and projects them into her performance. Amanda Stribling is an entertaining storyteller who enhances an already marvelous story to another level. Thank you for this outstanding listen.

Firstly I love this book so thank you to the 2 amazing authors who put it together, secondly Amanda has done such a great job with narrating this book and bringing all the characters to life. I honestly just want more of the team and Payton loved everything about it accept from chad, he got what he deserved. I laughed all the way through and it’s at the top 10 on my favourite books I’ve read. Thank you to all unloved for bringing such a great book to life 💛

I laughed out loud several times as Peyton is so funny especially when she’s on about Joni’s d1ck. The story was great and loved all the characters except for Chad he’s an ass.

Oh my, this book is so so funny! I spat my drink out twice! There are so many laugh out load moments in this book. It’s so refreshing to listen to this wreck of a woman. Amanda gives a brilliant, perfect performance.
