Loved this book for myself but loved teaching it too. It had everything you want-great narration, interesting characters, twists and turns of plot, humour, tension, assessable language. The performance was excellent. I loved the tone of voice, the mood ws perfectly conveyed, pacing was perfect. Overall perfect

Teaching Girl missing

I had a problem with this audio book from the start, because the narrator had too 'adult' a voice for a story told from a young teenagers perspective. Although some parts showed the naïve thoughts and actions of a teenage girl, for large chunks I had to remind myself that the main characters were effectively just kids. This was partly due to the narrative and partly the narration, but overall undermined the credibility of the story to the extent that I found it difficult to suspend judgment.

Not quite credible
