Summary

Fulgrim is an excellent entry to the Horus Heresy series, even knowing the end doesn't take away from the horror of the fall of the Emperor's Children.

however the book is tarnished by the poor quality of the recording - seemingly no effort has been put in the mix with extremely poor EQ meaning sibilant sounds will hurt the listeners ears at regular intervals

I know, I know I've rated this give stars but only given this book a five star rating as it's abohorently shocking and has managed to repulse me and still I listened.

Loved everything about this story. The fall into darkness, superbly narrated. A definite must read for all.

Detailed description on how the emperor's children and Fulgrim fell. Ties in well with the other books. It takes a while to get used to the performance, but Fulgrims voice will be David Timson in my head. Great addition to the HH serie.

Good follow up to the previous books.
