Both of the series are incredible, easily my favourites out of 1000s of listens and 100s of Sci fi! That is not said lightly, perhaps I just enjoy the style, but it needs saying...

The narrators outtakes on this book however have to be mentioned as they had me laughing so hard I actually blew snot bubbles!!

Gonna be honest this is not the book I wanted. After the cliffhanger of the last expedition book, I needed the next one!
My safe place, the books I go to when I have had a bad day, are as I call them ‘The Skippy books’. After that cliffhanger of Valkyrie, I feel lost. Can I trust the Awesomeness anymore?

However I do enjoy the Mavericks and I wasn’t going to miss this book, I’m glad I didn’t. As always I laughed at parts, worried over some characters were they going to be ok, or did they say the wrong thing! This book was a little bit different/interesting, the way they worked for the enemy, or the enemys enemy.
Will they get screwed because of this? Don’t miss this book, it’s great!

Fully enjoyed R. C Bray’s Narration, always brings the story to life.

The stories that Mr Alanson writes are awesome I really enjoy them but
Mr Alanson, please bring my safe place back!!

Another great story and the team is all there. The AI's are as as funny as ever and there are a few laugh out loud moments. but most of all you care about the characters due to the way it is both written and narrated. Bray swings and hits it out the field as usual.

Yet another great listen.

We need more books and we need them soon! I'm loving listening to Yates the Lizard who brings more life into the Mavericks and makes you want to hear yet more and more of him.
I'm loving the Mavericks as well as the Expeditionary Force and can't wait to hear more from both of them. Please hurry with more books.

Yates is a fantastic addition to the Mavericks!

This story with the Maverick is up with expedition force. I found the story moved along a lot more than the first book.
