Summary

The fraud. The imposter. The cheater. The fake. The murderer.

Which one am I?

The guest list for Brit and Joe’s joint bachelor-bachelorette weekend is small and exclusive: the bride, the groom, the best man, a work friend... and me, the maid of honor. I’ve planned every detail to make this a celebration none of us will ever forget.

Expect daytime drinking, poolside lounging — and a White Lie Party designed to help us share all our little secrets.

After all, confession is good for the soul... and one of us is hiding something truly killer.

Don’t forget to save the date!

Love, The Maid of Honor x

A tense and breathless psychological thriller set in the sunny Caribbean with a mind-blowing twist you won’t see coming. Perfect for fans of Lucy Foley, Ruth Ware, Freida McFadden, Shari Lapena, Riley Sager — and anyone who’s ever wondered what secrets their friends are really keeping.

Story ok, but spoilt by the narators, especially the males which sounded like AI. Females not so bad, but too girly American.

Bad narators.

I liked this as an easy listen. The plot that didn't leave me frustrated about unlikely twists or improbable behaviour by the characters, Other reviewers didn't like the narration so I didn't expect to either, but I was pleasantly squrprised.

I didn't mind the narration

This wasn’t for me I’m afraid, the narration didn’t suit me at all. I had to abandon after less than an hour

Not for

Plot was good, engaging enough and not too complicated, although there were quite a few cliches in the language that had me rolling my eyes. Unfortunately, the narrator of Darren’s character sounded like someone who is just learning to read - very stilted and with the emphasis on all the wrong words. Cringeworthy to listen to those sections. Otherwise, the book was fine to pass the time.

Good plot, spoiled by one character’s narration

I enjoyed the narration on this book and the story kept me gripped until the end, however I had questions that remained unanswered and was slightly disappointed with the ending. Overall an entertaining listen and a bonus that it was free.

Kept me guessing
