Most fantasy academy novels featuring love and magic are light and childlike. This one isn't, it's grittier, and real. A dystopian world that feels it could be just round the corner from reality.
The characters draw you in, and you can relate to their fears and emotions.

I'd love for this trilogy to continue, maybe finding a way to give the walkers back their threads. For them to explore other worlds together.

A darker fantasy that still gives you hope.
