I have read the physical book a number of times and used the theory - I have been on Adam’s online course too - I bought the audiobook as I learn better and retain info better this way and the more I hear and learn from Adam the better my joke writing becomes - Adam is an awesome guy too - if you want to be a comedian and comedy writer or beef up your public speaking this book will 100% help you - Thanks Adam xx

Listen to this if you want to vastly improve your comedy writing. Bloom has an in-depth understanding of the mechanics behind joke writing, and breaks this down in a way that'll make it easy to understand and retain when you apply it in your own writing.

There are so many elements here that you won't have been aware of that will change the way you assemble jokes, especially as somebody who is new to stand up or comedy writing in general. This has been my favourite resource for writing comedy and I have made countless notes and plan to revisit often!

I can not begin to recommend this book enough. This is a great book for anyone who wants to start stand up comedy. I have honestly found it invaluable and now finally it is on audible and I couldn’t be happier. If you want to learn stand up comedy then either read or listen to this wonderful book. Adam Bloom really knows what he is talking about and has years and years of experience. His knowledge is shared here in easily digestible chapters that focus on so many aspects of stand up comedy. It’s brilliant.

After reading the book, I HAD to get the audiobook to hear some absolute comedy legends bring the text to life, I can’t recommend this book enough, there are so many great bits of information for a budding stand up, seasoned performers, or comedy fans, the in depth mechanics of it all just fascinates me, Adam has highlighted those in the book and now vocalised them in the audiobook, BRILLIANT
