The story is much more exciting than the first one, we learn much more details about Thea and her mum. The story has some funny moments which gave the story some light hearted moments which I think the story needed as it's heavy at times. I do have one criticism as times I felt like I had missed a chapter or 2, one minute there's a cliff hanger the next it was as if that had never happened and something completely different was happening and it didn't get resolved.
which I didn't like. Both Narrators did a great job again 5/5 for both.
Spice is good but doesn't go into a massive amount of details and they seemed to be over quickly.
I enjoyed the book more than the first and I will finish the series I'm invested and excited to see what happens.

What I'm appreciating is how the blurb of this book really is only telling you (basically) about the beginning of the book and so I'm truly enjoying the direction the plot is taking. It has of course ended on quite the cliffhanger so I definitely need to find out how our main characters are doing. Again shout out to the narrators because they are making this so much fun.
