About this listen

Fat and friendless, carer to her mother by day and a secret binge eater by night, 28-year-old Alison hates her life. She feels powerless to help herself until one day she encounters the person she would like to be and determines to transform herself. Admiration soon turns to obsession, and as Alison loses weight she discovers she’s capable of things she never imagined. Will she get the life she desires or the life she deserves?

, found I was reading it at every spare minute I had. Great twist to the story, kept me guessing through out the book. Wish I could read it again.

When the story starts you feel sorry for the main character as it develops you realise how her changing image impacts her personality negatively. She justifies all her wrong doings for how she has been treated in the past eventually turning into someone who can be easily disliked and yet she doesn't realise it. I liked the story telling voice and pace. Listened to it fully within a few days
