the first four hours are terrible , the mc is on his own and has no one bounce off and is constantly making cringe jokes and obscure gaming and anime references most of witch dident even land for me , someone who consumes that sort media regularly however once he gets a companion who points out how cringe he is it gets a lot better and once the starts to really come into his power I started to really enjoy it.

good once it gets going

Well thought out litrpg great character development, I enjoyed from start to finish but a big part of that was due to the spot on narration from Chris and Jess , would recommend this series and hope the next two books come out soon

Great book

Male voice actor is truly amazing, female VA is not bad but the squirrel characters voice takes a bit of getting used to, but is very well done overall.

Writing is also far better than the title and cover art might suggest. Too bad everyone except the MC is basically written as braindead, selfish and the MC is making brainless decision after another concerning them. Everyone around the MC is vile

Male voice actor is truly amazing, female VA is not bad either

But the way MC is written nakes him irritating instead of funny. Anime references are overdone and quite cringy, all the spell chants and mostly missed humour make the book way harder to go through than propably intented. Narrator overdoing emotions only make the experience worse. I was hoping that it will go better, ive seen potential -but got left regretting an impulse buy.

Good potential...

Amazing character building twists and turns, the trauma the characters went through to grow and the amaculit voice acting of both readers kept me engaged and waiting excitedly for the next book to come out, hope it's sooner than I expect.
