I love the dual narration of Scarlett Everdeen and Walker Williams

I was loved this story from them very beginning . Jordyn has lost her hearing 15 years ago from a car accident but her life has always had music in it one way or another. Being deaf has never taken away her love for music only made it stronger, with the help of Jordyn's voice coach her dreams are finally coming true.
Asher is the lead singer of the number one country band, his manager believes the group needs a female vocalist to join the band. Asher was uncertain until he , hears Jordyn sing.
Both Asher and Jordyn feel instant attraction to each other .

What a wonderful happy story. This is my first experience with this author and I will definitely be looking for more. It held my interest and was fun to hear how Jordyn was living her best life despite her disability. I am new to these narrators as well and I enjoyed their interpretation of this story. I highly recommend this book.

This book has all the feels. It really does make you think about life without one of your senses. I love how strong these characters are. A brilliant performance from both Scarlett and Walker.

I loved everything about this book, from Tonya Clark’s wonderful writing style to the fabulous characters and storylines she created to the perfectly cast narrators who bring it all to life from the pages to your ears. The story not only grabbed my attention right and captivated it the entire book, but it tugged on my heartstrings too. The characters are realistic, easy to relate to and connect with, they are easy to care about too. I adored the two lead characters, Jordyn Collins and Asher James, the secondary characters were pretty amazing too. Jordyn lost her hearing when she was ten years old, but that did not end her love for music and dream of becoming a singer. Though she could not hear the music anymore, she could feel it and she had the perfect vocal coach to teach her to excel in her gift. Asher James is the lead singer for chart topping county band, their manager thinks the band will do even better if they add a female singer and Jordyn is the first one to audition. I loved how everything played out in this beautifully plotted story, it has the perfect balance of drama, heartfelt emotions and a sweet romance. I also loved the originality of the story and how the author keeps it real, showing how living in a hearing world without the ability to hear and the challenges the deaf community faces every day. Tonya Clark, thank you for this wonderful story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧 📚🎧 And for the wonderful narration, Scarlett Everdeen and Walker Williams were the perfect cast to bring the characters and their story to life. They had a complete understanding of the characters they portrayed, gave each a voice that suited that character’s persona to a tee, sounding believable and just as I pictured the character to sound. Everdeen nailed it as Jordyn brought out every side of her personality, and Williams did the same for Asher. Both were great at performing the roles of the secondary characters as well. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the character’s emotions and projected them into their performance, having you feel every single one. These entertaining storytellers are a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for the fabulous listen.
