Summary

A bad boy. A good girl. A second chance that could send them both up in flames.

Emily was a cop's daughter, and I was the boy from the wrong side of the tracks. At 18, our affair was wild and completely secret until she left town for college and a better life, and I hit the road to nowhere.

Eight years later, we're both back in town. My father is in prison; Emily is selflessly helping her sister. We should be farther apart than we've ever been. But I've never been able to resist temptation, especially when that temptation is Emily.

I shouldn't go near her. But I do.

She shouldn't say yes. But she does.

Our chemistry is hotter than ever, but she's hiding something from me. Just like I'm hiding something from her. It's hard to tell whose secrets are more dangerous, until it all goes to hell.

I can save her, and she can save me. But we'll have to break the rules.

We're from different worlds. We don't belong together.

But in the end, Emily and I are going to have to get dirty.

What a wild ride?

I read this book in conjunction to the audio book and it was delightful. The narrator's captured the essence of the character so perfectly and kept me very intrigued to keep on reading on.

Emily was a tough characters. Someone that at first might be difficult to like as a result of how she behaves. However when you see through her shield you see what she's really like. She's vulnerable just like everyone else.

Luke Riggs, is another tough characters, it's that reason why him and Emily get along so well. They both don't really fit into the shells people have put them into and so by being together they can be themselves and not worry about what anyone else is going to think.

He grew up on the wrong side of the tracks, literally. Him and his brothers have been given a bad reputation before even allowing others the chance to know them. However Emily doesn't care about that. Sure it makes things more scandalous but it's the connection she only cared about.

Luke is back in town after eight years to run his dad's auto shop. Emily is back to run her sisters hairdressers. After eight years of not seeing one another they're back together and what was left as unfinished business when they were 18 is now opened back up.

It a good story line with a but of suspense, intensity, and suspicious activity. However it balances perfectly with the sweet and sexy moments.

A must read or listen.

I have absolutely loved this audio. The story is interesting and fast moving. The action between Emily and Luke is hot and and I loved that Julie Kris's did not shilly shally around filling us in with their background together and moving the action along. I loved learning about each of the Riggs brothers, their banter and behaviour together. The characters are so interestingand I was really drawn to them. The voice actors, Erin Mallon and Joe Arden just knocked the whole thing out of the park and I was reluctant to leave their company as they brought Emily and Luke totally to life. 5 stars all the way! 😍♥️💖🔥🔥

I really enjoyed this story about Emily and Luke! A bad boy from the wrong side of the tracks and a police officer’s daughter. Such a good, forbidden type romance story with a layer of second chance romance.

I adored both main characters, heck even all the side characters! I loved the relationship that Em and Luke had in the past and rekindled almost a decade later. Their chemistry was off the charts hot!!!!!!

I can’t wait to read more books about the Riggs boys!

Drive Me Wild was my first Julie Kriss novel and I loved it. This second chance romance between the cop's daughter and the boy from the wrong side of the tracks was steamy, sweet yet had a little angst, that all served to keep you hooked on the pages of the story. While I loved Luke, Emily took some getting used to as I did not like her attitude at first. Although short, the story was well written and layered with an amazing cast of secondary characters. This page-turner was a fantastic read and I would highly recommend it to all lovers of Contemporary romance.
The audiobook was narrated by Joe Arden and Erin Mallon. Together they did an excellent job with the narration. They had great pace and timing and really brought the story to life. I enjoyed listening to them narrate this novel.

Emily Parker is back in town and everything seems to be turned upside down in her world. The one thing that feels like home is Luke Riggs. It has been 8 years but those feelings are still there and Emily needs Luke but there's has been a hidden relationship for many reasons and she isn't ready to be public about it yet.

Luke Riggs is back in town to run his father's body shop business. Little did he know there was things going on that could land him in jail right along beside his dad. His only concern though is Emily, she's all that matters.

Joe Arden and Erin Mallon are fantastic in this audiobook. I love listening to them and they kept my attention from start to finish.

I loved this audiobook and I highly recommend it.
