Brilliant action and a good enough yarn but let down by repetitive descriptions. Glad I listened to this story but unlikely to pick another Chris Ryan book in a hurry.

Having listened to 2 previous Chris Ryan books and thoroughly enjoyed them (Warlord is excellent, give that a go), this was disappointingly slow to get going; repetitive; questionable in the storyline occasionally; and I could not get into the narrator. I won’t give up on Chris, I just think this was very average compared to what I know he is capable of.
