When his ship is torpedoed by a German U-Boat during World War I, a man is taken prisoner by the Germans. Later, he escapes from the U-Boat to the sea, where he discovers a vast body of land, previously submersed on the Pacific Ocean floor, recently ripped from it through some geological upheaval, and bearing evidence that a highly intelligent, monstrous, race shares dominion of the Earth with humanity, and for the moment exercising it's rule only on the ocean floor. But how long will these beings be content only ruling the oceans?

I played this at 1.25x speed just to make the overwrought performance vaguely listenable.
Odd pauses in the overly slow spoken performance which is a shame as the overall soundscape is interesting and well done.
