I was so intrigued from the very start and the mystery of everything that happens in this story had me hooked.I found the plot very interesting and thought provoking and I really empathised with Tessa and what she was going through.
I understood Tessa's health journey it is one I am living,being dismissed by doctors and getting passed around because no-one knows what is wrong with you...It is a horrible situation and very disheartening.
Tessa has been ill for a year that is progressively getting worse,but no-one is taking her seriously and she can't get answers..I felt her frustration and resignation in my bones...She ends up in the E.R. after passing out where she comes face to face with Dr.Blake Morrison her brothers best friend and the man she has crushed on since her teens.
Unknown to Tessa Blake feels the same way about her as she does about him,when he discovers Tessa's health is declining he is determined to find out what is happening to her.
..Now I am trying not to give too much away because alot happens in the book..and there are different things going on introducing characters,delving into Blakes past,and all that is happening with Tessa.
Apart from the romance and the medical mystery the crux of this series is that something BAD happened in college and it brings 5 men together Blake,Ryker,Axel,Jase and Knox they are the sinners and saints and the go by 3 rules.
1.Loyalty
2.Protection
3. Unbreakable connection....They are like a family and will do anything to protect eachother.
I am excited for their stories.
I really Love Blake he is a man with a dark side and issues which all hold him back from being happy and allowing himself to have Tessa romantically.
He is very over the top but he means well the lengths he goes to,to take care of Tess and to solve her problems and heal her is very swoony.
Blakes past broke my heart,and I was glad when he opens up about it.
Tessa is so strong but stubborn and so independent she is literally risking her life because of it...Instead of allowing Blake to help her she has to fight him about it,and she did frustrate me a little bit.I wish I had a Dr.Blake Morrison in my life to help and care about me thats for sure.
The connection that Blake and Tessa have as friends and then as lovers is undeniable and fated...When they are intimate it is like the stars have aligned and they are so incredibly HOT,,PASSIONATE and super Spicy.
The Narration was superb by Aiden Snow and Brooke Bloomingdale they both made these characters come alive so perfectly...Aiden's deep timbre is just wowser amazing as Blake,it melted me on the spot and he nailed Blakes personality.Brooke's voice fitted perfectly for Tessa the panic,the frustration,the dismay and sarcasm she acted it out wonderfully.
I absolutely LOVED listening to them tell this story.
I applaud Kathy Lockheart for bringing this subject to light,she did her research thats for sure and wrote a realistic account of a patient struggling to be listened to and believed about their health and symptoms.
It was really emotional at times and I have to admit I did cry I just felt so much of what Tessa felt,if I only had a Blake in my corner.
Oh and talk about a curve ball Kathy threw one in there right near the end just when I felt all cosy and satisfied, I had been lulled into a false sense of security,because boom...!!..I never saw that ending coming it was a genius move by Kathy Lockheart.
I am so excited for more from the Sinners and Saints,I am eagerly anticipating book 2.
Crash is a Phenomenal book and a perfect audiobook I Loved it.

If you love action, romance and a morello grey hero willing to cross the line for the woman he loves, this will 100% be the read (or listen) for you!!!
Blake and Tessa's story is the beginning, the entire series is so well written, every character their own, every plot unique, but Crash will always hold a special something for me and it's a story I'll re-read and re-listen to over and over through the years.
Definitely recommend this book!

OMG this book & audio is PHENOMENAL!!!! It's duet narration by Aiden Snow and Brooke Bloomingdale and I am obsessed with how good it is!
The story between Tessa and Blake is an absolute rollercoaster!!! I had zero clue how things were going to play out and the plot twists just keep on twisting!
This is one of my favourite ever books and I'm so thankful I got to immersive read this one! 😍
