Another sweet installment by one of my favourite writers. Loved the characters and the writing was on point as always.

Only downsides were the liberal use of the word 'qu**r' and that it was a bit of a short one at only 6.5 hours!

Also a shame that Angela Dawes didn't narrate it! Abby Craden is great and probably my second favourite but Angela has my heart and would have made this a five star performance for me.

25 year length Best Friends "try out" dating & of course low & behold they're attracted to each other...
Story is quite short but wonderfully read by Abbey Craden as always...
Will try more by Jae in future..

A beautifully narrated, gentle love story, with likeable engaging characters who clearly come across as really both liking and loving each other. I very much enjoyed reading this book, which I did in almost one sitting.

Cute story. My only issue is with the narration. Abby Craden tends to have a voice she uses for 'butch' characters and different ones for more femme characters. In this book they are in reverse and, having listened to a lot of books by her, I found this really flipped things around for me during the narration and mixed up my characters a bit.
