Burn It Down by Nicole Dykes is a MM single dad romance that I listened to audio narrated by Bill Sharpe and Eric Corbyn.

Nicole does a great job pulling me into the story. I can't help but binge her books in one sitting. I really enjoyed the relationship that bloomed between Kade and Spencer. I loved getting both of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

Bill and Eric did a great job on the narration. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you're looking for a MM romance, single dad romance, small town romance or a contemporary romance.

I read this in ebook format earlier this year and really enjoyed it, but I think I actually liked it even more on audio!!! The narration was perfect for bringing these characters to life off the page.

Though Kade is dealing with some emotional & physical trauma due to things that happened in the line of duty as a firefighter in Kansas City, when he moves back to his smaller hometown he is ready for a change. The connection between him and Spencer (and between Spencer & Kade’s 6 year old son) is so seamless, you simply can’t help but cheer for their HEA. Plus sometimes you just need a read where you know things are gonna work out in the end with no drama.

Burn It Down is a single dad MM standalone book. Kade is a firefighter that moves back to his small town where he grew up. Kade was raised by his older sister. Now his sister has moved across the country to start her own family. He moved back to be closer to his brother to help raise his son, He lost his wife a few years back. They got pregnant in high school and got married shortly after graduating. He had always noticed Spencer in school. He never took the time to evaluate his feels towards Spencer then. Now Spencer has also come back to this town and is a teacher. Spencer is Kade's son Elijah's teacher. When they first meet Spencer is kind of standoff-ish to Kade. He thought Kade knew that Spencer had a crush on him in school. Spencer thought Kade knew that his jock friends use to pick on Spencer. Spencer didn't want to give Kade a chance. Kade kept trying to find out why Spencer didn't like him, or if he did something in their past. Finally, Kade wore Spencer down and they became friends which lead to more.

Bill Sharp and Eric Corbyn did a great job narrating this book.

I really enjoyed listening to this Spencer and Kade . Kade deserved a happy life after everything he’d been through and oh my his sweet is Elijah . Bath narrators did fab i haven’t listened to Bill Sharpe before and i look forward to more from him.
