Summary

This Book is awesome! It is more jam-packed with content. There is more world lore and character development. Many more new and interesting characters to get to know. I very much enjoy this series now and am excited to see where this story goes!

I have listened to way too many books within the genre I would say the wandering in is the best series within it so far but holy hell this is a strong contender. There are some more boring slower moments in it but what it excels in is some of the most fantastic emotionally powerful scenes which you will remember looking back and picking out all the great moments. I don’t wanna spell anything but it is worth it. We’re only on book 2 but this is the potential to be one of the best things that the genre has to offer and with two books still is please buy it. It’s definitely worth it.

The MC'S disposition is getting extremely annoying to deal with now, she questions everything like 7x before just moving on. its not character building its just waffle at this point. Sure I get it the innocent girl trope is good as a premise but she's literally hesitating to kill a gang leader who had someone die in front of him and he called them useless, now the MC is wondering if he deserved to die... like what? give her a damn spine for goodness sake

the MC is waaaaay too soft and nieve.
