Summary
FEATURING DUET NARRATION
In Fiasco, Kentucky, there is one rule: never fall for a Foxx brother. Any woman who did ended up dead – or so the rumour goes.
Townies call it a curse. But I’ve lived it, and I won’t survive it again. I’m not a cop anymore, but I’ve seen enough danger to know that Laney Young, the beautiful stranger who just showed up in my town, is running from something. She’s lying about where she came from and what she’s doing here.
I don’t want her near the quiet life I’ve made for myself, but she’s everywhere: working at my distillery, living in our guest house, I can’t avoid her. And the way she dishes out attitude from that pretty mouth of hers has me wanting things I’ve sworn to myself I’d never want again.
When her past shows up and mingles too closely with mine, her lies begin to unravel. I mess up, dig too far, and get too close. Only two things have the power to keep her safe now: bourbon and lies.
Nice bourbon story

Narration:⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Spice:🌶️🌶️🌶️
Love this story, it's funny, sweet and makes your heart skip a beat. It has a little twist towards the end that I didn't see coming, it kept my interest throughout the story.
It's the first book I've read from this author and I will be looking for more, great story with hunky brothers and bourbon, The narration was spectacular I love Samantha Brentmoor and Connor is also very high on my list (but only my 2nd book with him) I love narrators that read like they are talking to you, I always feel that no matter how good a story is if you're listening to it the narrators make it or break it and they both did great 😃. The spice was HOT 🔥🔥🔥
This is sooooo hot

The Fox brothers make bourbon the best bourbon but their lives have many secrets. So when Agent B turns up on Ace’s doorstep with Lainey who has witnessed and saved a woman from a monster, he is almost required to give her shelter. Lainey’s witness protection is secret from everyone even normal witness protection as B doesn’t trust anyone.
When Grant Fox lost his girlfriend, a fellow police officer, he fell to pieces and quit the force. His brother’s helped him through it and he kept to himself afterwards, gruff and surly. So when he finds Lainey living next door to him, he’s not friendly.
The law officer in him feels things are not what they seem with Lainey and he vows to find out her secrets.
The slow burn of their relationship is great as they each start to find out things about themselves and each other. But the monster from Lainey’s past comes back to haunt them.
Only with the help of Grant’s faithful ex police dog Junie and a rattler does Lainey survive but a bourbon storage unit is lost to fire.
Grant then reveals he has a secret stock of a bourbon to save lost revenue.
The suspense in this book is wonderful and how characters are intertwined from Grants lost partner to agent B and Dell the local detective and surprising.
I highly recommend this book
