Daphne Elliot did it again ! This story made me giggle, kick my feet, and tear up all at once! Brian is just the perfect mix of grumps and sweet and we finally get his HEA !! Loved the book, and now the Audio too with the full cast !

There wasn’t a single part of this book I didn’t enjoy. The realistic fears of being an older single mum, the mum guilt was palpable and relatable. The friendships and their support is envy worthy. No faulting the full cast narration. The storyline an easy listen and uncomplicated.

At first the story was interesting and seemed it might develop into more than the cookie cutter romance. Enter the sexual bla bla and it’s exactly the same as any other so called steamy romance. Literally the same as so many other books I fast forwarded much of the later pages. Can’t someone come up with new perspectives or at the least new descriptions? It just got so boring.
