If you're new to Own Your Shift, welcome.
And if you've been here since the beginning, thank you for being part of this journey.
As the podcast has continued to grow, I realized many listeners may know my opinions on hormones, fitness, mindset, leadership, and personal growth… but may not know the story behind why I do this work in the first place.
In this episode, I'm reintroducing myself and sharing the philosophy behind both the Own Your Shift podcast and my coaching platform, Shift(ed).
For over 20 years, I've worked in corporate leadership while simultaneously coaching clients because coaching has never been a side hustle, it's always been a part of who I am.
…And along the way, I've navigated career growth, raising a family, body changes, weight loss, identity shifts, and the challenges that so many women face: not just getting results, but learning how to keep them.
We'll talk about:
-
Why changing your body is often the easiest part of transformation
-
Why most self-improvement advice doesn't work for professionals
-
The story behind the name Own Your Shift
-
Why I created Shift(ed) performance coaching
-
The importance of education, mindset, identity, and sustainable change
-
Who this podcast and coaching are truly designed for
-
What you can expect from future episodes
Because transformation isn't just about losing weight.
It's about becoming the person who can keep the results, sustain the growth, and build a life they're excited to live.
