Critic reviews
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Entertaining and very well read. What was one of the most memorable moments of Alibi?
I particularly loved the narrator. His vocal skills are superb. The council for the prosecution was a dead ringer for Jack Nicholson and there was a Woody Allen impression thrown in somewhere too. Highly entertaining and thoroughly ridiculous plot line. Great! What does Bill Ten Eyck bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?
He totally brought this story to life. Will look out for other stuff he reads now.highly entertaining

No - it was a bit predictable.Any additional comments?
Not a bad listen when driving in the car - but sometimes slow and annoying.Moves faster at the end

It took me a little time to get used to the narrator his voice and speed irrated me initally, but then I got used to it, and the different characters he portrayed were really good.
The storyline was excellent and I liked the characters there was no time to be bored as the story moved on quickly .
I will read/listen to more by this author.

Would you try another book written by Sydney Bauer or narrated by Bill Ten Eyck?
No.What could Sydney Bauer have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
Not just full of cliches, but a verbal tic of having double adjectives, almost always irrelevant, for nouns of just about any sort; tedious beyond belief. The plot was tired and hackneyed. Altogether, a terrible experience.Would you be willing to try another one of Bill Ten Eyck’s performances?
This is by far the worst reader I've ever encountered. He sounds continually angry, and is virtually spitting out the words, regardless of the mood of the passage he's reading. He really does not belong in audible's catalog. What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Boredom and frustration.A truly dreadful book and even worse performance.
