I liked most about Act & Vist is how much atmosphere and intrigue it packed into such a short listen. The world of a dying Earth felt bleak yet hopeful, and the bond between Min and Lez gave the story real emotional weight. This was a strong introduction that promises even more adventure to come.

I loved how Act & Vist felt like a window into a much bigger universe while still telling a complete story. The desperate backdrop of a dying Earth really pulled me in, and Min’s voice as a narrator felt authentic and compelling. Stood out most was the theme of sacrifice and determination, especially with Min and Lez risking everything for humanity’s survival. I came away both satisfied and eager to read the next book in the series.

I enjoyed about Act & Vist was the balance between world-building and character emotion. Even though it’s short, the story gave me a vivid picture of a crumbling Earth and the struggles of humanity, while also making me connect with Min and Lez’s love and determination. It’s a strong start that makes you want to keep following the series.

A great appetizer for the next installment in the series. I have listened to Object and Visit (the first book), and I listened to this one in preparation for Visit and Propaganda, which are coming next.

The narration is solid, with good voice acting, something that characterizes this franchise and really helps immerse you in the world. Unlike the other books, this one doesn’t have a complicated timeline jumping back and forth, so it might be a great starting point for the saga and a way to better understand the lore.
