I grew up in the Wharfedale valley in Yorkshire where you could usually find me drawing or kicking a football around. I left to study at Brighton Polytechnic, still drawing, not so much football. I eventually left there to live in Australia where my journey in publishing took off. I have since illustrated over thirty children's books and written three, Little Big, Where is Bear? and Is Bear Here?.
