This is the third book in the London Hearts series and the characters we love are there.
Anna recently divorced, wanting a child but not sure she can date again. April and James awaiting the birth of their baby. Gemma still as raucous and potty-mouthed as usual and I love her. The stories she tells and Max the love of her life who tries to keep her in check while loving her kinky side.
Liam from Dublin, finds his long term girlfriend leaving him for his teammate and doesn’t want to keep their son 🥺. So he does what any hot blooded man does he punches the man. Unfortunately he loses his team and his girlfriend.
Moving to London with a chance on a team as long as he keeps his nose clean, he can play again.
After a night out he meets Anna, persuaded by her friends to dip her toe back in the pool. She doesn’t recognise him which he likes and they end up together for a night. Leaving him thinking she’ll not see him again she’s shocked to find he’s the father of the little boy in her class who is having problems with another pupil.
The troubles escalate and after a particularly bad incident the instigator is expelled.
Anna is also having trouble with a teacher who makes her feel uncomfortable and after he forgets to check for allergens on the picnic table, Liam’s son has an anaphylaxis episode and ends up in hospital.
This cumulates when the teacher sees a text from Liam and grabs Anna, unfortunately Liam hears the derogatory words he uses to Anna and punches him.
After a video is shown on the internet Liam is suspended but it is discovered the culprit of the video and it’s shocking and once the unedited version is shown all is well.
This is a book full of emotion but one that breaks your heart but puts it back together again.
Love these girls. What a wonderful book and series
