It did hold me in chokehold and i read / listened to audiobook in one sitting because it is IMPOSSIBLE TO STOP!!! Narration is absolutely incredible and the story telling is top. Cole & Blaise are of my fav couples now🥹♥️ love their insane love

”Chokehold” is a dark and unhinged MM romance that is absolutely delicious and chaotic.

This is not the first Leigh Rivers book I read, but it is the first Harleigh Beck book I read. So I had a small feeling of what to expect from this book. - It was beautifully dark and twisted, just what I hoped and just what I like. I was hooked!

This book was really chaotic from start to finish, and a wild ride to follow!

The story was fast paced, so much happed in one chapter and it had me reading chapter after chapter, wanting more and more. The plot is dark and brutal with so much tension and emotional depth. It hit me hard while reading and when I listened to the audiobook. This book is easily one of my most disturbing and yet compelling reads.
Both Rivers and Beck are not holding back and has created raw and passionate scenes on pages.

Both Cole and Blaise har insane and possessive in the best ways. The tension and chemistry between them is amazing even if they are highly dysfunctional and toxic. Trey had me giggling the whole time.

The story explores their intense relationship, filled with obsession and forbidden desires.
Cole has such a beautiful soul. His background had me tearing up, and I enjoyed following his progress in the book.
Blaise is cute and very hilarious character. He is so unapologetic unhinged and had me laughing many times.

I can really recommend listening to the audiobook. The narrators capture every ounce of tension, guilt, emotion and heartbreak so good and made everything feel so real.

”Chokehold” is twisted and absolutely unhinged for sure, but in the best way!
